Dennis J. Koget

Dennis J. Koget, 78, of West Newton, died Friday, February 27, 2026, at home, surrounded by his family.  He was born March 8, 1947 a son of the late John and Anna (Kychak) Koget.  Prior to retirement he taught at Hempfield School District for 37 years.  Dennis was a member of West Newton United Presbyterian Church.  Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Diane (Williams) Koget; son, Justin Koget; brother, Stephen Koget and wife, Marge; two brothers-in-law, Chuck Williams and Donald Williams; a sister-in-law, Sandy Roberts, who was his caregiver; and nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kristen; brother, Andre Koget; father and mother-in-law, Charles and Grace Williams; brothers-in-law, Bob Williams and Jeff Williams; and many aunts and uncles.  As per Dennis’ wishes, there will be no viewing or services.  The family would like to thank the Amedisys Hospice staff, especially Abbey and Melody.  Arrangements are entrusted to the J.
